WHAT IS YOUR HOMETOWN AND WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
Born in Nashville, I grew up in Minneapolis. I graduated from Boston University with a major in Finance while on the pre-medical track.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF TKG?
I like most activities that involve being outside in the sun—like playing tennis and boating—visiting friends around the country, and spending quality time at home with my family.
WHAT ARE THE VALUES THAT DRIVE YOU?
I would say I’m fairly competitive – especially with myself. Ensuring I am delivering results that reflect my best effort is always important. Being on the care delivery side, I often get to make my own decisions and interpret things for myself. This engages me more in my work and makes me more invested in the outcome.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO TKG?
Intimately working with health systems in a capacity that impacts patient lives.
WHAT BROUGHT ABOUT YOUR INTEREST IN HEALTHCARE?
I have always been interested in healthcare. I spent 4 years working in a cardiac lab at the University of Minnesota, a summer working for a plastic surgeon in NYC, and always knew I was going to do pre-med in college.
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES AT TKG?
This is tough. I think it would be square dancing in Nashville with the Care Delivery Team when I was an intern. Also – going to Vienna with the NASHNET team was something I will surely never forget.
HOW HAS WORKING AT TKG FOSTERED YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS?
I have had the opportunity to lead some projects with interns during my time at TKG. Recently, I have been given the opportunity to manage an associate on various NASHNET workstreams. I feel my leadership experience has been building during my time at TKG.
DESCRIBE THE COMPANY CULTURE IN ONE WORD.
Open. Everyone I’ve worked with is open to helping others Everyone I’ve worked with is receptive to new ideas and looking at things in a different way. I have been able to change the way data is handled and reports are submitted during my time on the care delivery team.
WHAT MAKES TKG DIFFERENT THAN OTHER AGENCIES?
TKG offers a vast knowledge of the healthcare space. Few companies have a side of their business that develops strategies for pharma, payers, health systems – and even solo providers. TKG touches on all aspects of healthcare and tackles our clients’ challenges head on.
WHERE DO YOU SEE TKG IN 5 YEARS?
I’m biased here – but I think the consulting side of TKG has a lot of space to grow. There are many projects we are equipped to tackle. We could bring our consulting services to strategic thinking required for products coming to market. We have many connections we can leverage, so the possibilities are endless.
