AMGA, the leading trade association representing medical groups, health systems and other organized systems of care, including some of the nation’s largest, most prestigious integrated delivery systems, decided to develop a Collaborative on managing rheumatoid arthritis (RA) to improve patient care.
Seeking to empower its membership to optimize care delivery and improve outcomes for those impacted by Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), AMGA sought third party support to enhance program engagement.
AMGA chose The Kinetix Group to help in the formation of the Best Practices in Managing Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Collaborative. The Collaborative was founded to design techniques and resources to help providers optimize care delivery, improve patient engagement and improve outcomes for RA patients. The RA Collaborative was intended to leverage key learnings from proven models and facilitate a how-to approach that can be individualized for each participating organization.
The RA Collaborative program was designed to provide strategic approaches to care, engagement of specialists, increase awareness of rheumatoid arthritis, increase adherence to standardized quality approaches for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and identification of patient gaps in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The Kinetix Group provided support to participating members by assessing strategic issues and administrative needs.
18 AMGA medical group members participated in the one-year program, each developing a best practice case study highlighting interventions and results. The Kinetix Group and AMGA have continued their partnership in a Heart Failure Collaborative.
